Tragic Plane Crash Claims the Life of Actor Christian Oliver and Daughters in the Caribbean
Renowned for his roles in "Speed Racer" and "The Good German," Christian Oliver met an untimely demise in a plane crash in the Caribbean on Thursday, accompanied by his two young daughters.
As reported by Entertainment Weekly on Friday (1/5), the 51-year-old actor, born Christian Klepser, was on board a small aircraft with his daughters Madita (10) and Annik (12). The plane crashed into the waters off Bequia around noon local time, according to the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police.
The tragic incident also claimed the life of the plane's pilot, Robert Sachs.
Authorities stated that all four bodies were successfully evacuated, thanks to the courageous efforts of the Bequia fishing community and divers, collaborating with the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Coast Guard. The deceased were then transported to Saint Vincent and taken to the Kingstown Morgue.
The investigation into this tragedy is ongoing, as mentioned by the police.
Representatives of Oliver did not immediately respond to further inquiries from EW.
